Description
The Colli Maceratesi Ribona Le Piagge of Villa Forano was born in vineyards located on the hills of Appignano, in the province of Macerata.
It is produced exclusively with Ribona grapes, harvested by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October, then softly pressed in whole bunches. The wine ferments in steel vats at controlled temperatures.
Ribona Le Piagge is a straw yellow wine with grayish reflections. The nose opens with salty, fresh and fruity hints, among which intense and persistent notes of yellow pulp fruit, such as apple and pear, enriched with floral nuances of acacia and chamomile stand out. In the mouth it is dry, very fresh and quite soft. Overall it is a balanced wine with a good structure.
Perfect to accompany fish and vegetable first courses, it is ideal in combination with white meats, fried fish and vegetables and semi-mature cheeses.
