Collio DOC Bianco Friulano 2015 Isidoro Polencic

The Collio Bianco Friulano of the Isidoro Polencic Winery is born in the vineyards located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, in the municipality of Cormons.

It is entirely produced from Tocai grapes which are harvested and selected manually towards the second half of the month of September. After fermentation at controlled temperature, the wine ages for about 80% in stainless steel tanks and the remaining 20% in French oak barrels.

This Collio Bianco Friulano is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of yellow fruits that make it intense and complex. On the palate it is pleasantly acidic, fine and refined. It has an important structure.

It is perfect if paired with white meat main courses with seasonal grilled vegetables, it is excellent in combination with appetizers based on ham or delicate vegetable or fish soups.
