Collio DOC Ribolla Gialla Raiante 2016 Conti Formentini

The Collio Ribolla Gialla Raiante of Conti Formentini was born in vineyards located on the rolling hills of Friuli, a territory famous for the production of quality wines. Raiade, means in the Friulian dialect "Raggio di Sole", to highlight how important the heat of the sun is to the maturation of this grape.

It is produced exclusively with Ribolla Gialla grapes, harvested from late September to early October. A part of the grapes is put to rest in the fruit cellar while the remaining part begins to ferment. After about 1 month, the grapes left to dry are added to the must already in fermentation.

The Raiante is characterized by a deep golden yellow color, with greenish reflections. The nose opens with an intense and delicate bouquet, with aromas of acacia flowers, enriched with pleasant shades of linden and chestnut. On the palate it is fresh, pleasantly dry and savory, with a good persistence and a plum aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany aperitifs and appetizers, it is ideal in combination with fish, seafood and shellfish dishes.
