Description
This rosé wine from Tenuta San Francesco is obtained from a refined blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso, grown in the Tramonti area of the Amalfi Coast, on steep terraced soils at an altitude of 300 to 600 meters above sea level. The vines, trained using traditional pergola and espalier methods, benefit from a cool climate with significant temperature variations, enhancing their elegance and freshness.
The harvest takes place in the second decade of October, followed by a steel vinification process that preserves the aromatic integrity of the grapes. The wine then matures for a period of 6 to 8 months in steel, followed by an additional 1-2 months in bottle before being marketed, ensuring balance and finesse.
Visually, it presents a pale pink color. The bouquet is delicate and refined, with fruity notes of raspberry and wild strawberries, floral hints of rose, and slight spicy nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasant salinity that lingers in the finish, providing balance and moderate persistence.
It pairs perfectly with appetizers and seafood dishes, enhancing their lightness with its freshness and liveliness.
