Description

The red reserve wine 4 Spine from Tenuta San Francesco is produced in the Tramonti area, on the Amalfi Coast, through a skillful blend of Aglianico, Tintore, and Piedirosso, grown on terraced lands with steep slopes between 300 and 600 meters above sea level. The vines, trained in a traditional pergola with ungrafted plants and on trellises, benefit from a cool climate with significant temperature variations, which enhances the elegance and aromatic complexity of the wine.

Harvesting takes place between the end of October and the first ten days of November, with vinification in steel that preserves the varietal purity of the grapes. The wine then matures for a period of 18 to 24 months in oak barrels, followed by an additional six months in the bottle, ensuring a perfect balance between freshness and structure.

In appearance, it shows a ruby red color with violet reflections. The bouquet is intense and complex, with notes of cherry and small berries blending with balsamic and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is harmonious and persistent, with vibrant freshness, a pleasant saltiness, and a long finish with hints of licorice.

It pairs perfectly with red meats and aged cheeses, enhancing their flavors with its structure and elegance.
