Costa Toscana IGT Alicante 2016 Ampeleia

The Alicante Ampeleia comes from that wonderful part of Tuscany that belongs to the province of Grosseto.

100% Alicante Nero variety, it is made up of grapes belonging to a specific vineyard parcel named Vigna della Pieve and defined by a sandy soil enriched with pebbles. The vinification begins with the harvest which takes place in the first half of September, and ends with an aging of about 6 months in cement tanks.

In the glass it shows a ruby red color. The nose reveals notes of red, pink fruit and a spicy trail to complete the bouquet. In the mouth it is pleasantly tannic and fresh, managed in a nice balance and softness.

Excellent to escort a rich aperitif of typical cold cuts of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition.
