Côtes du Jura AOC Blanc Tradition 2012 Château d'Arlay
Description
The Vin Blanc Tradition of the Domaine Chateau d'Arlay originates in the French Jura region, which has gained notoriety through its intriguing white berry expressions.
It consists of a particular blend that sees the participation of 70% of Chardonnay and the remaining 30% of Savagnin, a variety that dominates local viticulture. The two grapes are assembled when still in the form of must, so as to carry out the alcoholic fermentation phase together. A long refinement of 3 years in large wooden barrels that are always full completes the winemaking process of this white wine with character.
It appears straw yellow to the eye and turns almost towards golden tones. Its scent is never banal in its hints of dried fruit, raisins and a vegetal imprint of tea leaf. Closes in an elegant and persistent finish.
Perfect to combine with an almond chicken.
