Dezelno Vino PGO Renski Rizling 2011 Ducal

Ducal's Deželno Renski Rizling comes from vineyards located in the Val di Trenta, within the vast Slovenian wine-growing region of Štajerska.

It is produced entirely with Riesling Renano grapes, harvested late by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in large oak and steel barrels for a further 12 months, before being placed on the market.

Ducal Renski Rizling has a bright golden yellow color. The nose opens with light hydrocarbon hints typical of the grape, honey and green apple, closing with pleasant notes of cedar. On the palate it is savory, fresh and elegant.

Perfect to accompany the moment of dessert, it is ideal in combination with spicy recipes and vegetarian dishes.
