Description

Christie's Douro Reserva Castelinho was born in Quinta Dona Mafalda, located in the municipality of Lamego, in the famous wine region of Douro, Portugal

It is produced with Old Vines, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in wooden barrels before being bottled.

Douro Reserva Castelinho has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with pleasant floral and toasted notes, with hints of chocolate. On the palate it is expressive and balanced, with discreet tannins and a pleasantly velvety and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
