Etna Rosato DOC Alnus 2017 I Vigneri - I Custodi delle vigne dell'Etna

The Etna Rosato Alnus de I Custodi delle Vigne dell'Etna was born in vineyards located in Castiglione di Sicilia, on the north side of the Etna volcano.

It is mainly produced with Nerello Mascalese grapes and with Nerello Cappuccio grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. After pressing the whole grapes, according to the ancient "track and mutta" method, fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a temperature of 20-25 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 5 months in cement tanks and for at least 2 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market.

The Alnus de I Custodi of the Etna vineyards has a cherry pink color, with light ruby reflections. The nose opens with a pleasantly floral bouquet, with fresh hints of strawberry and raspberry. On the palate it is dry and harmonious, pleasantly acidic and spicy.

This rosé wine lends itself well to accompany cold cuts and cheeses with a strong and spicy flavor.
