Fiano di Avellino DOCG 2019 Ciro Picariello
Description
Ciro Picariello's Fiano di Avellino originates from its own vineyards, located in the areas of Summonte and Montefredane, in the province of Avellino. These areas are made up of vines with an average age of 20 and 12 years respectively. The soils are mainly clayey and are located at an altitude ranging between 500 and 650 meters above sea level
The Fiano grapes are harvested in both areas during the second half of October. A vinification in steel follows which ends with an aging within them and a last period of rest in the bottle for about 6 months.
At sight it reveals a straw yellow color. The perfume is reminiscent of white flowers and a mineral vein of flint stone, with a peaty note to revive the bouquet. The taste is fresh and full-bodied, characterized by a good drinkability.
It goes perfectly with a grilled fish.
