Description

The Spumante Franciacorta Brut Milledì is born in vineyards located on the gentle slopes of Adro, in Franciacorta.

It is produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes, rigorously harvested by hand in mid-August. After pressing, only the must is placed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C, separately for each vineyard. During the following spring, the different wines obtained are assembled in a cuvée and bottled for the second fermentation. The aging on the lees has a total duration of 36 months.

Milledì is characterized by a straw yellow color, with green and golden reflections, and by a fine and persistent perlage. The nose and mouth presents fine and refined citrus notes, enriched by a good and balanced minerality. Overall it is a very elegant wine with a pleasant and long persistence.

Perfect as an aperitif, it is ideal in combination with appetizers and dishes based on fish and shellfish, both raw and cooked.
