Description
The Friuli Colli Orientali Bianco Lalinda of the La Tunella winery is born in vineyards located in the heart of the Friulian hills. Thanks to their unmistakable style, La Tunella wines are the perfect expression of the terroir.
It is produced with 33% Friulian grapes, 33% with Istrian Malvasia and 33% with Ribolla Gialla, the 3 indigenous vines that represent the long Friulian winemaking tradition. The harvest of all the vines is carried out during the second week of September. After a soft pressing, the grapes ferment in barriques at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques, with frequent bâtonnage, in order to obtain a complex, structured and pleasantly fragrant wine. The wine is refined for a further period in the bottle.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with a fresh and enveloping bouquet, with sweet floral hints of hawthorn, enriched with pleasant aromas of apple and citrus. On the palate it is lively, delicately soft and persuasive. The wine has long and velvety persistences, with a large savory and enveloping finish.
Perfect to accompany fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with raw fish, sushi and seafood.
