Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Sacrisassi Bianco 2016 Le Due Terre

The Friuli Colli Orientali Sacrisassi Bianco of the Le Due Terre winery is born in vineyards located on top of a hill, on the road that connects Dolegna del Collio to the Prepotto, on the border with Slovenia.

It is mainly produced with Friulano and Ribolla Gialla grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 22 months partly in barrique and partly in oak tonneaux, before being bottled.

The Sacrisassi Bianco of the Le Due Torri winery is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose opens with pleasing fruity aromas of apple, cedar peel, gooseberry and white peach, on a mineral background. On the palate it is warm and powerful, of good freshness and with a long and savory finish.

Perfect to accompany steamed fish and shellfish soups, it is ideal in combination with seafood and stewed white meats.
