Description

The Friuli Colli Orientali Zuc di Volpe Focus di Volpe Pasini was born in vineyards located in Prepotto, in the heart of the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali.

It is produced exclusively with Merlot grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in barriques and ages for another 12 months in bottle before being marketed.

The Zuc di Volpe Focus has a dark and impenetrable ruby red color. The nose opens with persuasive aromas of blackberry and black cherry, enriched with spicy notes of licorice. On the palate it is enveloping and structured, with excellent persistence.

It is ideal in combination with red meats and roasts of noble poultry.
