Friuli Colli Orientali Picolit DOCG Cumins 2015 Livon
Description
Friuli dei Colli Orientali Picolit Cumins di Livon originates from the homonymous vineyard, located in Ruttars, in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, Gorizia.
It is made entirely from Picolit grapes, harvested by hand in boxes, followed by drying of the bunches for 30 days. Fermentation takes place in Allier oak barriques at a temperature of 20 ° C. Afterwards it always stops in barrique for about 8 months and for another 6 months in bottle.
It has an intense straw yellow color. The nose expresses delicate hints of wildflowers and almond, which are accompanied by pleasant notes of peach, acacia and chestnut. The taste is enveloping, of remarkable elegance and persistence.
Perfect for meditation, it goes well with foie gras and unseasoned cheeses.
