Description
This Merlot is produced by the Castelnuovo del Garda winery or Cantina Sociale Veronese del Garda and belongs to the Ca' Vegar line.
It consists exclusively of Merlot grapes, which are destemmed and pressed. Vinification takes place in thermo-controlled steel tanks. The wine then ages for 10 months in large barrels.
Brilliant ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of red fruit with spicy hints on the nose. The sip is soft and medium structured, with a fairly persistent finish.
The wine goes perfectly with tagliatelle al ragù and grilled meats.
