Description

Herno Old Tom Gin is a spirit of absolute quality, fully reflecting the philosophy of Jon Hilgren, owner of Herno who, after a long experience as a bartender in London and years of study, decided to devote himself to gin production. This label is where body and elegance go hand in hand, characterised by a slightly sweet flavour on the palate that makes it particularly intriguing to drink. A bottle born from Jon's passion and his desire to challenge himself, it is now found on the shelves of the most famous bars and cocktail venues in the world.

Herno's Old Tom is a gin created from ingredients sourced from all over the world. Among the botanicals left to infuse we find Hungarian juniper, Bulgarian coriander seeds, Swedish lingonberries, English meadowsweet, Indian black pepper, Indonesian cassia and Madagascan vanilla. The entire distillation process is monitored with maximum care, with attention to every smallest detail in order to craft a flawless product.

Herno's Old Tom Gin is completely colourless and crystal clear to the eye. The nose is expressive and concentrated, where a backbone of juniper is joined by spicy hints and nuances reminiscent of resin and honey. On tasting it is full-bodied, energetic, characterised by a floral profile and a slightly sweet taste; it finishes with a delicately spicy aftertaste. This label continues to win awards and set records, confirming itself as one of the most celebrated distillates in Europe and a favourite among trendsetting bartenders.

Ideal to be enjoyed neat.
