Description
Two tireless travelers, two indefatigable explorers from the most remote and dangerous corners of the world realized one day that, to craft the best cocktails and long drinks, even the world’s top bartenders often relied on beverages made with high concentrations of sugar, chemical additives, and preservatives. Back in 2000, they decided to change course, creating drinks with an authentic taste and strictly natural ingredients.
Thus, at the end of 2005, Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow founded the company Fever-Tree, whose name pays tribute to the colloquial term used to describe the Chincona tree, the plant from which the main ingredient of tonic water is derived. Fever-tree uses only natural ingredients, sourced from the most remote corners of the world, from the southwest of India to the Ivory Coast, directly by the two producers themselves, who travel regularly in search of new ingredients for new blends.
Ginger Beer Fever Tree is a blend of three different gingers: green ginger from the Ivory Coast, which lends a pleasantly tangy freshness; ginger from Nigeria, with great citrus intensity; ginger from Cochin, perfectly in tune with the other two, releasing an aroma reminiscent of chocolate. Ginger Beer stands out for its dominant attack of ginger and citrus, and it is a well-balanced soft drink with a cloudy hue due to natural ginger sediments; the ginger note lingers both on the palate and on the nose, bringing freshness, intensity, and a pleasant mouthfeel without being cloying.
The aromaticity of the ginger and the ultra-fine bubbles pair perfectly with premium spirits. Excellent served on its own, it is the ideal mixer for a Dark & Stormy with dark rum, or with vodka to make a Moscow Mule.
