Description
The Greco di Tufo Ariella is produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, one of the largest and most successful wineries in Campania, which produces both white and red wines in Irpinia, a historic region of the Campanian Apennines in the province of Avellino. The "Feudi Studi" line is a limited edition that each year is created from grapes of the most expressive vineyards selected from the 800 vineyards available to the company.
The wine is made exclusively from Greco grapes, which are pressed and fermented in stainless steel at 18-20°C, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine is aged in stainless steel on fine lees for 8-10 months, with weekly bâtonnage, followed by 12-18 months in the bottle.
This wine presents a straw yellow color with golden reflections, revealing on the nose aromas of white peach, aromatic herbs, and salinity. The palate is dry and savory, with excellent persistence.
Ideal to enjoy with sushi and fish carpaccios.
