Description
Fonzone's Greco di Tufo originates from vineyards located in the municipality of Santa Paolina, in the heart of Irpinia.
It is made exclusively from Greco grapes, hand-picked and selected in the first ten days of October. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place at low temperature in stainless steel tanks, for about 1 month. The wine then matures in steel for about 5 months before bottling.
This Greco di Tufo has an intense golden yellow color. On the nose, it opens with notes of orange blossom, grapefruit peel, and pineapple. On the palate, it is soft and juicy, with a pleasantly long finish of dried apricot.
Ideal paired with fish and shellfish-based first courses, it is perfect to accompany white meats and fresh cheeses.
