Description

Irpinia Aglianico di Fonzone was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Paternopoli, in the heart of the enchanting Irpinia landscape.

It is produced exclusively with Aglianico grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 10 months in steel and in small parts in second and third passage wood.

Irpinia Aglianico di Fonzone has a ruby red color with purple hues. The nose opens with intense aromas of violet and dried rose, enriched with notes of red fruits and black cherry, on the palate it is structured and soft, with a pleasantly long and spicy finish.

Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, it is ideal in combination with soups, cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses.
