Description

The Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco di Vietti was born in vineyards cultivated in the Langhe area, in Piedmont.

It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, left to ferment for 18 - 28 days at a controlled temperature between 28 and 38 ° C. Subsequently the wine is placed in steel and barriques for malolactic fermentation for a period of 4 months, then placed in large barrels for about 20 months. Before bottling, the wine goes into steel for a few months.

Perbacco is a wine with a fruity bouquet, with notes of mint and spices and nuances of candy. On the palate it has round and elegant tannins and a long and refined finish. Overall it is a robust, intense and powerful wine, which becomes elegant and complex with aging.

Ideal to accompany first courses based on meat sauce, it is perfect in combination with stewed meats, game and roasts. Also excellent with cheeses, both fresh and aged.
