Description

Vermentino Marmato from Il Poderone originates from 100% Vermentino grapes grown in the Tuscan Maremma, perfectly expressing the Mediterranean character of this varietal. It is an elegant and bright white wine, showcasing the region through freshness, aromatic intensity, and a pleasant saline touch.

The winemaking process takes place entirely in stainless steel tanks, where the wine ferments and matures to preserve its aromatic purity and varietal freshness. This is followed by a brief period of bottle aging, which helps to define balance and harmony before release.

It appears in a pale straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose reveals a broad bouquet with floral notes of orange blossom and peach blossom, complemented by hints of white-fleshed fruit and references to Mediterranean aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is harmonious and intense, with rich and lingering fruit, supported by pleasant freshness and a savory finish.

It pairs well with seafood starters, shellfish, fish dishes, and delicate white meats.
