Description

Rapaura Springs Winery Sauvignon Blanc is produced in New Zealand's southern Marlborough region.

The vineyards are located close to the Opawa river resting on alluvial and loamy soils. Low density and refreshing winds from the east help the grapes to reach a full degree of ripeness. After harvesting, the grapes were immediately transferred to the cellar to proceed with soft pressing and fermentation at low temperatures to preserve the primary fruits.

Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, the wine has a nose full of exotic fruits such as pineapple and passion fruit, melon and lemon peel. The refreshing acidity on the palate recalls green apple and some herbaceous tones of mint and marjoram for a pleasantly broad, clean and long-lasting sip.

Ideal wine for grilled white meats, pasta casseroles with vegetables, quiche and stuffed peppers.
