Description
The Marsala Superiore Semisecco 10 Anni Mille di Rallo is produced in the Trapani municipality of Marsala, in the heart of Sicily.
It is made from Grillo grapes, manually harvested in boxes in September. After fermentation, this Marsala ages in small oak barrels for 10 years before being bottled.
Amber in color, it offers the nose a broad and enveloping bouquet, with hints of apricot in alcohol, candied citrus fruits, dates, dried figs, accompanied by aromas of toasted almonds, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel and coffee. Warm and consistent with the nose, in the mouth, it is pleasantly sapid and persistent.
Excellent at the end of a meal combined with dry pastries, it is a perfect meditation wine.
