Description
The Chavel des Andes is born in vineyards located on the slopes of the Andes, a wonderful Argentine terroir famous for the production of high quality wines.
It is produced 60% with Malbec grapes, 35% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 5% with grapes of other complementary vines, harvested only by hand. The wine ages in barrique for 18 months, and for further 18 months in bottle. This wine through its unique style, perfectly expresses the Franco-Argentine essence.
The Chavel des Andes is characterized by an intense red color, with bright reflections. The nose opens with a fresh aromatic bouquet, with aromas of cherry and black currant, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of laurel. On the palate it is elegant, with a complex body and pleasantly silky and lively tannins. The wine has a seductive acidity and a long persistence.
Perfect as a meditation wine, it is ideal in combination with first courses and red meats.
