Description
Silvio Carta's Mirto di Sardegna is made from only ripe red myrtle berries, grown in the unspoiled countryside of Sardinia. The myrtle remains in infusion for several months, after which the berries are tapped and squeezed to extract all the aromas.
Ruby red in color tending to purple, it offers the nose an intense and characteristic scent of myrtle, supported by elegant notes of honey. On the palate it is soft and silky, with delicate references to the same fruity sensations perceived by the nose.
Ideal to serve frozen at the end of a meal or to be proposed as an aperitif.
