Description
Manzoni Bianco by Serafini & Vidotto is made exclusively from 100% Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 grapes, a crossing of Riesling and Pinot Blanc created by Professor Luigi Manzoni in 1930 at the Istituto Enologico Cerletti in Conegliano. The name indicates the exact position in the vineyard where the best result was achieved: vine 13 in row number 6.
Harvest takes place in mid-September, followed by maturation in stainless steel for at least 6 months on fine lees, to enhance its freshness and aromatic profile.
It shows a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, notes of exotic fruit, citrus, yellow apple and white peach emerge, enriched by floral nuances, wild mint and sage. The palate reveals immediate freshness and a pleasantly mineral finish, making this Manzoni a wine of rare finesse and elegance.
Ideal with mild Prosciutto di Parma, seafood spaghetti and seafood risottos, it excels alongside fresh cheeses, whether cow’s, sheep’s (pecorino) and/or goat’s.
