Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Malandrino 2018 Cataldi Madonna
Description
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Malandrino di Cataldi Madonna is located in the vineyards cultivated in the organic system of the municipality of Ofena, in the province of L'Aquila, of which it obviously tries to express its territorial characteristics.
It is made exclusively from Montepulciano grapes, harvested entirely by hand. After alcoholic fermentation, with maceration on the skins for 18-21 days, the wine ages partly in steel and partly in concrete, without deliberately seeing the wood.
Ruby red bright to the eye, Cataldi Madonna's Malandrino opens with an intense and crunchy bouquet, with notes of black cherry and ripe sour cherry. On the palate it is fresh and easy to drink, without giving up sensations of flavor and complexity.
A wine for the whole meal, it is particularly indicated to accompany the typical dishes of Abruzzo cuisine.
