Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva DOC 2014 Monti Guidi del Carmine
Description
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva di Monti Guidi del Carmine was born in the vineyards of the Abruzzo company, located around the historic city of Chieti.
The wine is made exclusively from Montepulciano grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in October. Following the destemming, crushing and fermentation processes, the wine ages for at least 24 months in wooden barrels and then rests in the bottle to refine its organoleptic characteristics.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose offers sensations of black currant, undergrowth, musk, sage, with very attractive tobacco finishes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, with a particularly elegant tannin and a balsamic flavor with notes of jam.
This red wine is perfect to accompany important dishes of regional cuisine such as cooked lamb, arrosticini and tripe alla pennese.
