Description

Casalino's Morellino di Scansano is a Tuscan red wine produced in the Maremma area, made from Sangiovese grapes and considered one of the region's most iconic wines. It expresses a warm, Mediterranean style, characterized by aromatic intensity and balance, with a strong connection to the landscape and local tradition.

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromatic freshness, followed by aging in steel and partly in wooden barrels, which contributes to giving the wine structure and complexity while maintaining its elegance.

In the glass, it appears an intense red with violet hues. On the nose, it offers fruity aromas of cherry, morello, and ripe red berries, with great intensity. On the palate, it is soft and balanced, with a delicately tannic, refined, and persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with roasts, braised meats, grilled meats, and hearty traditional first courses.
