Description

Moscato d'Asti from Cascina Carlot comes from vineyards located in Coazzolo, on the hills between Monferrato and the Langhe, in Piedmont.

It is produced with pure Moscato d'Asti grapes, harvested manually and carefully selected in the vineyard. The grapes are macerated for a few hours in a press at a controlled temperature of 20 ° C, then are naturally squeezed and decanted in the cold. The wine ferments for about 7 days at 15 ° C, then undergoes the process of second fermentation in an autoclave and then rests for 10 days at 4 ° C. Before bottling it is filtered.

This Moscato d'Asti has a straw yellow color. The nose is delicate and enveloping, with peach notes and pleasant sage nuances. On the palate it is sweet, but very balanced.

Perfect in combination with all types of desserts, especially pastries and typical Piedmont hazelnut cakes, it is perfect as an aperitif.
