Napa Valley AVA Pinot Nero Carneros 2019 Robert Mondavi Winery

This Pinot Noir was born in the splendid vineyards of the Robert Mondavi Winery company, located in the famous Californian Napa Valley.

It is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, carefully picked and selected. After a maceration lasting about 20 days, the wine is left to ferment in oak barrels. In the same containers, it is then left to evolve for about 5 months, in order to amplify its organoleptic characteristics, in harmony with the American wine culture. Bottling and aging in glass follows.

This Pinot Noir has a clear ruby red color. The nose offers an appealing mix of black cherry and plum, with sensations of undergrowth and delicate and elegant hints of thyme. In the mouth it is of great structure, with very strong flavors of blackberry, spices and herbs, which accompany a persistent finish.

Perfect with elaborate dishes such as red meats, roasts, game and well-aged fresh cheeses.
