Oltrepò Pavese IGT Pinot Grigio Fumetto 2019 Tenuta Fornace

The Comic is produced by Tenuta Fornace, located in Mornico-Losana. The company manages 80 hectares of vineyards spread over various estates: Tenuta La Pieve in Rovescala, Tenuta Il Torchio in Canneto Pavese, Tenuta Cascina Mosca in Santa Maria della Versa, located in the north-eastern part of the DOC Oltrepò Pavese and the Colli Tortonesi, in Piedmont. The wines of Tenuta Fornace contain no or less than average quantities of added sulphites.

It consists exclusively of Pinot Grigio grapes, which are vinified with spontaneous fermentation and indigenous yeasts of the grapes in steel tanks. There is a cold maceration on the skins for 10 days and a subsequent refinement on the lees, always in steel. The wine is bottled neither clarified nor filtered.

Soft pink in color with garnet reflections, it expresses floral and fruity aromas on the nose with notes of green apple. The sip is slender, fresh and with a long persistence.

Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with delicate seafood cuisine.
