Description
The Paestum Aglianico Klèos by Luigi Maffini was born in vineyards located on the gentle hills overlooking the splendid Tyrrhenian Sea, in the municipality of Castellabate, in the province of Salerno.
It is produced exclusively with Aglianico grapes, harvested during the month of October. After a destemming-crushing, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique, before being bottled.
It is characterized by a ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with aromas of cherries, enriched with pleasant notes of currant jams. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and spicy, with a fresh and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with roasts and stewed meats.
