Description

Olivier Leflaive's Pommard is a red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Côte de Beaune on clay-limestone soils, spread between slopes and flat areas that give the wine a balance of elegance and structure. The vineyards, managed with sustainable practices and hand-harvested, represent different plots of the territory, offering a harmonious synthesis of the appellation's style.

The winemaking process includes destemming the grapes and fermenting them in open vats, followed by aging in oak barrels with a brief period in steel tanks to enhance the wine's overall balance.

On the nose, it reveals aromatic intensity and notes of ripe fruit, accompanied by hints of black cherry and light spicy nuances; on the palate, it is concentrated, enveloping, and structured, with an elegant texture and a long, harmonious finish.

It pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts, and rich dishes from traditional cuisine.
