Description

The Pouilly-Fuissé of Château Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is born in vineyards located in Mâconnais, in southern Burgundy, a wine-growing area known exclusively for the production of Chardonnay wines.

It is produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in new barriques, with indigenous yeasts, at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for a few months in oak barrels, before being bottled.

The Vieilles Vignes of Château Fuissé is characterized by a bright straw yellow color with green reflections. The nose opens with elegant aromas of ripe peach and apple pie, enriched with characteristic hints of brioche and caramel. On the palate it is structured and mineral, with a nice tension.

Perfect to accompany fish and white meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with mushrooms and noble poultry.
