Description

The Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Concura is the jewel of the A6mani project, the only son of the Campofreddo district, born from very old vineyards located on the coastal area of the Salento peninsula. We are in the classic area of Primitivo di Manduria PDO, where a rather warm and dry climate, together with low rainfall and high temperature variations between day and night, have an extremely positive effect on the quality of the grapes.

It is obtained from only Primitivo clusters, which were harvested manually in the second half of September at an advanced stage of maturation. The fermentation process involves an 18-day maceration for 80% of the must, and 25 days for the remaining 20%. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in fine French and American oak barrels.

It shows a particularly intense and elegant ruby red color in the glass. The aromas of plum and cherry jam in the nose are in harmony with the spicy and tobacco aromas. In the mouth it is rich and soft, with a large body. In the finish it gives notes of cocoa, vanilla and coffee.

It is the perfect match for red meats and game. Try it as a meditation wine.
