Description

The Primitivo Desire Lush & Zin by Pasqua is a wine that expresses the intense and enveloping character of Primitivo, one of the most representative grape varieties of the region. The grapes come from selected vineyards and are hand-picked to ensure a perfect balance between ripeness and freshness. The Apulian terroir gives the wine extraordinary aromatic intensity and an elegant structure.

Winemaking begins with destemming and crushing, followed by a low-temperature pre-fermentation maceration for about a week, favoring the extraction of aromas and color. Alcoholic fermentation takes place between 20-24°C for 15-20 days with frequent pump-overs. Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for six months in large wooden barrels, gaining softness and complexity.

Visually, it presents a deep, intense red color. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, with notes of plums, red fruits, and licorice, enhanced by hints of vanilla, coffee, and cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced, with elegant tannins and a long, harmonious finish that reveals all its structure.

This Primitivo pairs perfectly with grilled meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, enhancing their flavors with its intensity and enveloping aromatic profile.
