Description
The Lindes de Remelluri line is born from Telmo Rodríguez's intuition to explore and enhance the villages neighboring the historic Remelluri estate in Rioja Alavesa. Each wine of the range represents a single village, highlighting its geological and climatic specificities. Viñedos de Peciña is a red wine among the six labels of this territorial collection, obtained from a combination of native grape varieties, primarily Tempranillo, accompanied by Garnacha, grown in vineyards located between 637 and 672 meters above sea level, on calcareous soils with abundant stoniness, giving the wine a unique and distinctive profile.
Vinification involves spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel using indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation and 12 months of aging in French oak barrels of various sizes and ages. This process enhances varietal purity and terroir expression, maintaining a balance between structure and freshness.
On the nose, aromas of cherries and blueberries are perceived, accompanied by floral, herbaceous, and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and flavorful, with fine-grained and expressive tannins, and a long persistence reflecting its complexity and depth.
Perfectly paired with meat stews, spicy dishes, or aged cheeses.
