Description
The Commodo Bianco produced by Tenuta San Leo is a white wine made from Malvasia Puntinata grapes cultivated in the vineyards of Castelli Romani. The medium-textured soils leaning towards clay and the altitude of 320 meters provide the wine with freshness and aroma typical of the Roma denomination.
The grapes undergo cold maceration for 8-10 hours at 7°C, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at 13-14°C. The malolactic fermentation takes place after the alcoholic fermentation, also in stainless steel, while the aging occurs in the bottle.
It presents a straw yellow color with green highlights. The aroma is reminiscent of apricot, exotic fruits, and white pepper. On the palate, it is dry, fresh, lively, with good body and an balanced finish.
Ideal with risottos, soups, and fish-based dishes.
