Description

Rosso Piceno from the Conti degli Azzoni winery was born on the Marche hills.

It is produced with Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes, which undergo a long maceration process and a maturation of 9-12 months.

This Rosso Piceno is characterized by a ruby red color, enriched with purple reflections. The nose opens with hints of sweet spices, such as vanilla, and delicate aromas of red berry fruits. On the palate it is well balanced, with excellent persistence and a pleasant licorice aftertaste.

Perfect in combination with land appetizers, this wine is perfect to accompany red meats, in particular beef fillet, and fresh or aged sheep's cheeses.
