Description

Château Cos Labory is a wine classified as Cinquième Grand Cru Classé del Médoc, born from gravelly soils with limestone substrate. The name derives from the geographical position of the estate, located beyond the Cos d'Estournel and for the property entrusted in 1845 to Mr. François Labory.

Typical Bordeaux blend based on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, it carries out a traditional vinification in steel at a controlled temperature. Refine in French oak barrels for a period of about 18-24 months.

Ruby red in color, the nose offers a good balance between the fruity and spicy components. On the palate the entrance recalls earthy hints of spices and black berried fruit, with a fresh and drinkable taste that closes on a pleasantly fruity finish.

Perfect in the company of second courses based on red meat, it is ideal with game, elaborate first courses and preparations based on mushrooms.
