Description

The Château Lagrange, 3ème Grand Cru Classé in the official classification of 1855, on the occasion of the universal exhibition in Paris, which decreed the best Bordeaux wines produced at the time, was born in vineyards located in the heart of the AOC Saint-Julien.

It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and with Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, carefully harvested by hand in October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 21 months in partially new French oak barrels, before being bottled.

Château Lagrange is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of cassis and citrus, with notes of tobacco and smoke that complete the picture. On the palate it turns out.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with mushrooms, game and aged cheeses.
