Description

The red wine of the Conti Zecca company was born in Puglia, in Salento, where the Zecca family has lived for centuries. The wine is produced in one of the Conti Zecca properties, the Cantalupi estate.

The wine is produced from Negroamaro grapes and other red vines. The grapes are destemmed and softly pressed. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with a maceration on the skins for 8 days. The wine then ages in concrete tanks.

Ruby red in colour, the wine offers aromas of red and black fruits, cherry and blueberry to the nose, as well as delicate spicy notes. The sip is dry, with fine tannins and a fairly persistent finish.

The wine goes well with pasta with meat sauce and stewed meats.
