Description
The name of Salento Primitivo IGT Orion Masseria Li Veli refers to the Greek oros which means border and indicates the fortified road near Masseria Li Veli which divided the Byzantine possessions in Salento from the Longobard ones, called precisely "Lmite dei Greci".
The pure Primitivo grapes grown with sapling are the basis of this wine, aged for 6 months in 225 liter oak barrels.
This ruby red wine has the typical aromas of the grape of ripe red fruit, combined with notes of sweet spices such as cinnamon and mace. On the palate it is full, powerful and with a long and persistent finish.
Ideal to share with friends, with the rustic dishes of home cooking.
