Description
Rosso Riserva Donna Lisa represents one of the Cru of the Puglia company Leone De Castris. This wine comes from vineyards located in the historic Salice Salentino DOC.
It is produced with a skilful blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes, harvested in late September, destemmed and left to macerate for at least 13 days at a controlled temperature of 20-22 ° C. After malolactic fermentation, Donna Lisa ages in French oak barrels for about 18 months and then ages in glass for a further 6 months before being released on the market.
This wine is characterized by an intense red color, with a garnet nail. The nose opens with aromas of blueberry and blackcurrant jam, enriched with spicy notes of vanilla, licorice and soft woody nuances. In the mouth it is a wine of extraordinary elegance, with sophisticated tannins and a bewitching body. The ending is all to be enjoyed.
Excellent to combine with roasts, game and aged cheeses, the Mona Lisa also pleasantly accompanies moments dedicated to meditation.
