Sicilia IGT Sole e Vento 2018 Marco De Bartoli
Description
The Sicilia Bianco Sole e Vento of the Marco de Bartoli winery comes from Grillo grapes grown in vineyards located in the municipality of Samperi, in the heart of Western Sicily, and with Zibibbo grapes grown in vineyards located in the heart of the island of Pantelleria.
It is produced 70% with Zibibbo grapes and 30% with Grillo grapes, harvested only by hand towards the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for 7 months, before being bottled.
Il Sole e Vento is characterized by an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet, with pleasant hints of ripe white berry fruit. On the palate it is soft and velvety, pleasantly sweetened with delicate notes of Muscat from Alessandria.
Perfect to accompany fish and shellfish dishes, it is ideal in combination with fries and seafood.
