Description

The Pinotage of the Delheim company is produced in South Africa in the Stellenbosch area with 100% grapes.

The manual harvesting of the grapes is followed by de-stemming and crushing. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with pumping over 6 times a day. The subsequent malolactic fermentation is carried out partly in oak barrels and partly in steel tanks. The wine was then aged in French oak barrels of 300 and 500 liters for a period of 18 months before bottling.

Intense and lively purple red in color, it has hints of red fruits and floral references that close with clove tips. On the palate it expresses a soft and enveloping finish, with returns of vanilla and fleshy fruits, excellent structure and a medium-long persistence.

Perfect for risotto with mushrooms, game and grilled meats, it can also accompany pizza and appetizers of semi-cured meats.
